Built around the Tavor SAR bullpup layout, this rifle uses a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a left-side charging handle. It accepts STANAG/AR-pattern magazines and ships with three IWI 28-round polymer mags with witness windows for a 28+1 capacity.
The 18" barrel is CrMoV steel, cold hammer forged, and chrome-lined with a 1:7 twist for 5.56 NATO. It is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with an A2-pattern birdcage flash hider. The bore condition is excellent, with a clean, mirror finish and sharp rifling.
The polymer stock and frame are finished in Flat Dark Earth and feature the IWI flame logo molded into the stock. A Midwest Industries fore-end/handguard is installed, adding functionality while retaining the rifle's full-length numbered Picatinny top rail and additional fore-end Picatinny sections. A vertical foregrip is mounted on the lower fore-end rail.
Firearm comes with a Vortex SPARC II red dot optic, making it ready to shoot for any range day or training. The optic is included but not installed, and the rifle's full-length Picatinny top rail provides a straightforward mounting surface.
Markings include "TAVOR SAR .223 REM – IWI US – HARRISBURG, PA." on the receiver, "MADE IN ISRAEL" and a "P" stamp on the barrel, plus a serial number displayed on an oval plate. These details align with the rifle's IWI lineage and Israeli manufacture.
