This 1943 Izhevsk Arsenal Mosin-Nagant Model 1891/30 is a wartime-production rifle configured in a PU-style sniper setup. It features a round receiver with the Izhevsk triangle-with-arrow crest, Soviet proof marks, and a Century Arms import stamp. A PU-pattern side rail with low rings holds a steel, PU-style fixed-power reproduction scope, paired with a turned-down bolt handle for clearance. The classic 29 in barrel and internal 5-round magazine retain the core 91/30 characteristics.

    Condition

Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.

Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.

Bore Rifling: Good Rifling - Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.

Specific Condition Notes: This rifle was converted to a PU-style sniper configuration using aftermarket components. The work is well executed and presents cleanly. The installed scope appears to be a reproduction, possibly of Ukrainian manufacture.

    What’s Included

    • Optic: PU-style fixed-power scope (installed)

Built at Izhevsk in 1943, this 91/30 uses the round receiver format and shows the correct triangle-with-arrow crest along with Soviet inspection proofs. The receiver and barrel wear a blued finish, and the rifle is import-marked by Century Arms as "C.A.I. GEORGIA VT."

The rifle is set up in a PU-style sniper configuration with a PU-pattern side rail and low rings. A steel, PU-style fixed-power reproduction scope is installed. The polished, in-the-white, turned-down bolt handle provides scope clearance, and the safety knob includes indexing symbols.

Sighting equipment includes iron sights with a hooded front post and a tangent rear sight. The hardwood stock retains a shellac-type arsenal finish with sling slots and metal escutcheons, complemented by a separate top handguard. Length of pull measures 13.25 in.
