This Russian-made Izhmash Saiga in 7.62x39 is an AKM-pattern semi-automatic rifle imported by EAA Corp. and outfitted with practical upgrades. It features a 16.3-inch threaded barrel with a three-prong flash hider, an SGM Tactical railed polymer fore-end with Picatinny rails, an aftermarket finger-groove pistol grip, and a fixed polymer buttstock. Built at Izhmash and marked "MADE IN RUSSIA BY IZHMASH," this Saiga retains AKM-pattern fundamentals with a stamped, riveted receiver and smooth top cover. It is import-marked by EAA Corp., Cocoa FL, and carries multiple Russian proof and inspection stamps, including the oval "04" proof. Factory bilingual model and caliber markings and S/F selector markings are present.
The 16.3-inch threaded barrel is fitted with a three-prong flash hider. Iron sights consist of a post front in an open-ear base and a tangent rear leaf. A left-side AK optics/accessory dovetail rail is mounted on the receiver for compatible side-rail accessories.
Upgrades include an SGM Tactical polymer fore-end with Picatinny rails for mounting accessories, an aftermarket finger-groove polymer pistol grip, and a fixed polymer buttstock with a steel rear sling loop.
