This Harry Lawson Co. custom sporting rifle is built on a commercial FN Mauser 98 action marked "ACTION - MADE IN BELGIUM" with the FN oval logo. Chambered in 7mm Rem. Mag., it features a 24-inch blued sporter barrel marked "H LAWSON" over "7 MM REM MAG" and "G5468," an engine-turned bolt, and a finely crafted right-hand rollover Monte Carlo walnut stock with classic Lawson details. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases with plug screws installed.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Minor scratches and blemishes are present. There is a small amount of pitting on the safety selector. There is a small spot on the top of the receiver.

Harry Lawson Co. executed this build on a controlled-round-feed FN commercial Mauser 98 action, noted on the left side with the FN oval logo and "ACTION - MADE IN BELGIUM." The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases and currently fitted with plug screws.
The rifle wears a 24-inch blued sporter-profile steel barrel chambered in 7mm Rem. Mag. Barrel markings include "H LAWSON" over "7 MM REM MAG" and "G5468." No iron sights are present.
The right-hand rollover Monte Carlo walnut stock showcases wraparound fleur-de-lis checkering, a high-gloss finish, a contrasting rosewood forend tip, a rosewood grip cap, and amber/gold-toned spacers at the recoil pad and grip cap with a non-white contrasting line at the forend tip. A ventilated recoil pad and a decorative crest inlay on the fore-end underside complete the stock. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
Functional details include an engine-turned (jeweled) bolt with a round knob, an internal box magazine with approximately 4-round capacity, and a single trigger. The rifle has a blued receiver and overall finish consistent with a classic custom sporting build.
