Built in the USA by Tommy Built Tactical, the TG36 mirrors key G36 design elements in a domestic configuration. The clamshell polymer receiver integrates the magazine well and presents clear manufacturer markings, including Made in USA and the Lakeland, FL address.
The rifle uses a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston action with a top, G36-style charging handle. Controls include pictogram-style 0/1 selector markings with ambidextrous safety/selector levers for intuitive operation from either side.
Up top, a full-length Picatinny rail carry-handle bridge with protective ears provides a solid mounting surface. The G36-pattern polymer handguard includes accessory rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions and elongated ventilation slots for heat management. A fixed front sling loop is positioned under the gas block.
The 16.5-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a four-prong flash hider. A side-folding, skeletonized polymer stock with a left-side hinge and a 13.5-inch length of pull rounds out the handling package.
