    What’s Included

    • Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket pistol
    • One 6-round steel magazine

The Model 1908 Vest Pocket is also known as the Pocket Model, Calibre .25, Hammerless (Colt internal Model N). This example was manufactured in 1917, placing it squarely in the post-1916 production with the magazine disconnect added to its existing grip safety and manual thumb safety. Together, these features form the pistol’s well-known triple-safety setup.

Built on a simple blowback, striker-fired, single-action system, the pistol keeps dimensions to a minimum for discreet carry. It has a 2-inch barrel, an overall length of approximately 4.5 inches, and weighs about 13 ounces. Capacity is 6+1, and the pistol uses a heel-style magazine release.

Sights are fixed and integral, with a front blade and rear notch. The slide has rear vertical serrations, and the barrel/slide interface uses Colt’s quarter-turn takedown system for field-stripping. Period rollmarks include the right-side "COLT AUTOMATIC CALIBRE 25" and a left-side address with patent dates including Jan. 25, 1910.

Exterior details include steel construction and black checkered hard-rubber grips bearing the COLT banner and rampant colt. This U.S.-made Colt Model N remains a compact, collectible example of Colt’s early 20th-century pocket pistol design.
