    What’s Included

    • Smith & Wesson factory two-piece cardboard box (vintage blue/gray)

The 10-5 engineering change denotes the tapered standard barrel variant, produced circa 1962–1977. This example is the desirable 2-inch snub configuration on the K-frame, chambered in .38 Special, with a round-butt grip frame and a six-shot fluted cylinder.

Sight setup is fixed, with an integral serrated ramp front sight and a fixed topstrap groove rear. The smooth-face trigger and exposed, checkered hammer spur support double-action/single-action operation. Both the hammer and trigger are color case-hardened.

Construction is carbon steel with a polished blue finish. The revolver wears checkered walnut service stocks with Smith & Wesson medallions, providing a classic 1970s look and feel made in the United States.

The D-prefix serial range places this revolver’s production in the late 1975 to early 1976 timeframe within the 1970s era. It is accompanied by a vintage S&W factory two-piece blue/gray cardboard box.
