Kel-Tec P-3AT Gen 2 .380 ACP Micro Semi-Auto Pistol, Blued Slide/Black Grip, 2.75 in Barrel, 6+1 Capacity
This Kel-Tec P-3AT Gen 2 is a lightweight, pocket-sized .380 ACP designed for deep concealment. It is identifiable as a second-generation model by its angled external extractor retained with a button-head screw, and the line was discontinued by Kel-Tec in 2022. Weighing approximately 7.7 oz unloaded with a 2.75 in barrel and 6+1 capacity, it combines a compact profile with a locked-breech, double-action-only, hammer-fired system and durable 4140 steel components.

The Gen 2 P-3AT uses a short-recoil, locked-breech system with a double-action-only, hammer-fired mechanism and an internal hammer. It has a hammer-block safety and a left-side magazine release. There is no external manual safety or slide stop, matching the model’s snag-resistant, minimalist control layout.
Construction features a 4140 steel barrel and slide with a blued finish (black in color), paired to a 7075-T6 aluminum internal frame and a polymer grip housing. The slide has rear serrations and an external extractor, while the grip incorporates aggressive molded checkering for secure purchase in a micro footprint.
Sights are integral and fixed, with a low-profile front blade and rear notch to reduce snag potential. The pistol carries 6+1 rounds of .380 ACP and maintains a very light carry weight at approximately 7.7 oz unloaded, supporting discreet daily carry.
This second-generation configuration is easily confirmed by the angled external extractor with a button-head screw. The P-3AT series ended production in 2022, and this example remains a compact, U.S.-made option focused on practical concealment and straightforward operation.
