The PX4 Storm uses a rotating-barrel locking system designed to mitigate muzzle rise. It operates in DA/SA with an external spurred hammer, and the Type F configuration provides an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker. Safety features include a firing pin block and out-of-battery safety, with no magazine disconnect.
The frame is fiberglass-reinforced polymer in black, with molded 'Px4 Storm' grip panels that incorporate Beretta trident medallions. A MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dustcover supports common weapon-mounted accessories. The slide wears a durable black Bruniton finish.
The 4 inch chrome-lined barrel is paired with 3-dot iron sights. The front is a single-dot post and the rear is a two-dot notch, and the sights are drift/windage adjustable for zeroing.
Markings include "GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY" and "BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK., MD." The design also incorporates a modular, removable hammer/trigger unit for serviceability. Magazine not included.
