The 20 inch alloy steel barrel is cold hammer-forged with 5R rifling and finished in black nitride. It is threaded 5/8-24 and fitted with a Ruger two-port muzzle brake secured by a jam nut, giving the buyer a ready-to-use, thread-protected muzzle system.
A 4-position regulated gas block (positions 0–3) allows the user to control gas flow, including a single-shot setting. The rifle operates via a semi-automatic, direct impingement action.
The 15 inch free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock and a continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny rail. A bolt-on M-LOK QD sling mount is installed at the 6 o'clock position; the handguard itself does not have integrated QD sockets. The upper receiver includes a forward assist, ejection-port cover, and brass deflector.
The stock setup centers on the Magpul PRS Lite in matte black, offering adjustable cheek height and adjustable length of pull; this example is set with a 13.5 inch LOP. A Magpul pistol grip complements the control layout, and the manual safety provides straightforward operation.
The receiver set uses 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish in matte black. The SFAR accepts SR-25/M110 pattern magazines and is listed at approximately 39.75 inches overall length and about 8.0 pounds in this configuration. This rifle is identified by Ruger part number 5613 and was manufactured in 2024 in the USA.
