This SIG Sauer 1911 TACOPS in 10mm Auto is a full-size, all-steel pistol built with a 5 inch Government-length barrel, an integral accessory rail, and fixed SIGLITE night sights. It features a Nitron black finish over a stainless steel slide and frame, an external extractor, and an extended magwell. It comes with four 8-round magazines, the factory case, the manual, and an installed rubber wrap-around finger-groove grip sleeve.

The TACOPS configuration pairs a Government-length, bushing-equipped barrel with an all-stainless slide and frame, finished in matte Nitron black. The barrel is ramped and marked "10 MM AUTO," and the slide uses an external extractor with the non-GI profile characteristic of SIG 1911s.
An integral Picatinny-style accessory rail with three cross-slots is machined into the frame for attaching compatible lights or other rail-mounted gear. Sighting is via fixed Novak-pattern SIGLITE 3-dot night sights, with a low-profile two-dot rear and a single-dot front.
The single-action, hammer-fired system includes a skeletonized, lightened trigger with relief cuts and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer. Safety features include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, a grip safety, and a Series 80-type firing pin safety.
Ergonomics and reloads are supported by an extended beavertail grip safety with memory pad and an extended, flared magazine well. The pistol retains textured black grip panels with SIG medallions and has an installed rubber wrap-around finger-groove grip sleeve.
Factory model code is 1911R-10-TACOPS. The frame is marked "SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON-NH-USA." Capacity is 8+1 with the included single-stack magazines.
