The M1911 A1 - FS follows the proven 1911 platform with a full-size frame and 5-inch barrel chambered in .45 ACP. It uses a single-action trigger system and an 8+1 capacity, pairing traditional operation with practical capacity for range or duty use.
Construction is all steel with a matte gray finish on both frame and slide. The slide carries rear-only vertical serrations for traction, and GI-style fixed sights with a small blade front and a low-profile square-notch rear.
Controls and handling elements stay true to the A1 pattern: left-side manual thumb safety, grip safety, and a standard GI recoil system with a short guide rod, spring plug, and barrel bushing. The pistol also has an arched mainspring housing with vertical serrations and a smooth front strap.
Performance-focused touches include a skeletonized trigger and a short, skeletonized combat/speed ("Delta") hammer with an open triangular lightening window. Model markings appear on the frame ("M1911 A1 - FS"), the barrel hood is marked "CAL. 45 ACP," and import/manufacture markings read "APINTL-PAHRUMP NV ... PHILIPPINES," indicating Philippine manufacture.
