This G44 is the first rimfire model to carry the Glock nameplate, pairing the familiar Glock handling with economical .22 LR. The frame on this example is marked "MADE IN USA" and carries the U.S. patent notice, identifying it as a U.S.-manufactured variant.
A hybrid polymer/steel slide reduces reciprocating mass while maintaining strength for reliable blowback cycling. Front and rear slide serrations aid manipulation, and ambidextrous slide-stop levers support bilateral control.
The 4.02-inch steel barrel uses Glock's hexagonal rifling with a 1:15.98 right-hand twist. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines, offering a straightforward setup for training or rimfire use.
The polymer frame features Gen5-style texture for secure purchase, a mildly flared magwell to guide reloads, and a left-side magazine release. A single-slot Glock universal accessory rail accepts compatible lights or accessories. Sighting is via a polymer front with white dot and a screw-adjustable polymer rear.
Safety is Glock's Safe Action system with a trigger safety and safety-tabbed trigger, consistent with the brand's striker-fired design.
