The A5 Ultimate Grade III is built around Browning's Kinematic Drive, a recoil-operated action that delivers fast cycling with a clean-running design. It uses the Speed Load Plus system for quick, positive loading, and is set up for a 4+1 capacity with 2 3/4-inch shells. Controls include a knurled bolt handle, standard bolt slide and bolt release button, and a gold-colored trigger.
The 28-inch barrel is back-bored and features Browning's Vector Pro lengthened forcing cone for smooth shot transition. A ventilated rib supports a red fiber-optic front bead and an ivory mid-bead, and the classic humpback profile extends the sighting plane for confident target alignment.
This Grade III variant stands out with a satin nickel receiver and factory engraving: scrollwork with pheasants on the left and mallards on the right. The aluminum-alloy receiver keeps the gun lively in hand, while the gloss oil Turkish walnut stock and forend offer 22 LPI cut checkering and an Inflex II recoil pad. Length of pull is 14.0 inches and adjustable with included spacers.
The shotgun uses the Browning Invector-DS flush-fit choke system. Two chokes are provided (Modified and Improved Cylinder), and a flush Full tube is installed in the barrel. The chamber is cut for both 2 3/4- and 3-inch loads, giving flexibility across clays, field, and marsh roles.
