This Model 70 Classic Stainless BOSS pairs Winchester's controlled-round-feed action with a sporter-contour 23 inch stainless barrel featuring the factory BOSS adjustable tuner/brake. It is New Haven, Connecticut rollmarked, finished in matte stainless, and set in a black synthetic stock with molded checkering. The rifle includes a scope mount installed, and the bore condition is excellent.

The Classic Stainless BOSS series combines a stainless steel receiver and barrel with a black composite stock for a durable, weather-resistant package. This example is chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum and uses an internal 3-round magazine.
The 23 inch sporter-contour stainless barrel is factory-equipped with Winchester's BOSS adjustable tuner/brake and features porting. The barrel is threaded, and the rollmark reads "Made in New Haven, CT U.S.A."
The controlled-round-feed action uses a Mauser-style full-length claw extractor and a three-position safety. The bolt body is jeweled, and the bolt knob is round and knurled for secure manipulation.
The receiver has a matte stainless finish and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, with a mount already installed. The rifle has no sights. Length of pull measures 13.75 inches.
The black synthetic stock includes molded checkering for grip and a full-size profile suited to field use. The overall configuration reflects the Classic Stainless BOSS series features as produced in the United States.
