This U.S.-made, Exeter, NH–marked Sig Sauer SIG 556 pairs the proven long-stroke piston system with a 16-inch threaded barrel and a side-folding, telescoping stock. A receiver-length 1913 Picatinny top rail carries a factory SIGTAC multi-reticle red dot, and the rifle accepts standard STANAG/AR-15 magazines with a 30+1 capacity. The adjustable gas regulator, gas block with sling loop and front sight, and A2-style birdcage flash suppressor round out a feature set built for dependable performance.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The rifle presents minor, superficial scratches and small blemishes from light handling. The bore is clean and shiny with a mirror-like appearance.

The SIG 556 uses a semi-automatic, gas-operated, long-stroke piston system with an adjustable regulator. It features a right-side, reciprocating charging handle that runs in a riveted guide slot and a manual safety for straightforward operation.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style birdcage flash suppressor. The gas block features an adjustable regulator, a sling loop, and a front sight. The upper receiver is stamped steel and the lower receiver is polymer, and a Picatinny rail runs along the top of the receiver for mounting optics.
Furniture includes a two-piece, ventilated polymer handguard with molded rail sections at the front for accessory placement. The side-folding, telescoping polymer stock has a rubber buttpad, and the length of pull measures 11.5 inches. The polymer pistol grip has horizontal serrations for a secure hold.
This rifle accepts STANAG/AR-15 magazines and is configured for a 30+1 capacity. It is a U.S. production example marked Exeter, NH, combining classic SIG lineage with domestic manufacture.
The included optic is a SIGTAC multi-reticle reflex sight, mounted via the SIGTAC STH-400A mount. The optic body is marked "SIGTAC – SIGARMS INC., EXETER-NH, USA." Sigtac Multi-Reticle Red Dot installed.
