This Italian-made Beretta Model 84B from the Cheetah series is a compact .380 ACP with the B-variant updates, including a frame-mounted manual safety and automatic firing-pin safety. It features the classic open-top steel slide over an aluminum-alloy frame and comes with two 10-round magazines. Installed Pachmayr two-piece rubber panel grips add a secure, full-hand purchase. The 84B variant combines DA/SA operation with straight-blowback design, delivering a compact .380 ACP platform with a stated 10+1 capacity. The barrel measures approximately 3.75 inches, and the double-stack magazine interface supports the included 10-round magazines.
Construction details include an aluminum-alloy frame paired with a steel open-top slide. The slide has rear serrations only, complemented by a rounded trigger guard and vertical serrations on both the forestrap and backstrap for added control.
Sight configuration is fixed, with a ramped front blade featuring a colored dot and a square-notch rear. Controls include a left-side button magazine release.
As a B-series update, this model has a frame-mounted manual safety with no decocker and an automatic firing-pin safety. It bears Italian proof and inspection marks and the BERBEN CORPORATION N.Y.-N.Y. U.S. import marking. The installed Pachmayr two-piece rubber panel grips (not wraparound) are a practical customization.
