This Russian-made VEPR K brings Molot’s RPK-pattern reinforced stamped receiver to a 7.62x39 semi-auto platform, paired with a hammer-forged, chrome-lined 16 in barrel. It comes custom-configured with an extended ventilated aluminum handguard featuring a full-length Picatinny top rail, a fixed skeletonized polymer stock with a padded adjustable cheek piece, and a Firefield multi-reticle red dot installed. Early ZDF SLC UT import markings and Russian proof/acceptance stamps underscore its origin and build quality.

Built on Molot’s RPK-pattern reinforced stamped receiver, this VEPR K retains hallmark AK-pattern durability with a ribbed stamped top cover and a selector marked S/F. Markings include MADE IN RUSSIA and VYATSKIE POLYANY, along with Russian proof/acceptance stamps and numerals 02 and 03. The rifle bears the early ZDF SLC UT importer mark.
The 16 in barrel is hammer-forged and chrome-lined, with a threaded muzzle. A multi-slot flash hider is installed and retained by a set screw. The action is semi-automatic, gas-operated, with a rotating bolt, and it accepts detachable AK-pattern 7.62x39 magazines.
Custom features focus on usability: an extended ventilated aluminum handguard with a full-length Picatinny top rail, plus a sling swivel stud on the underside. The fixed skeletonized polymer buttstock includes a padded, adjustable cheek piece, and the length of pull is 13.0.
Optics are ready to run with a Firefield Multi-Reticle Red Dot sight mounted on the top rail. The iron-sight configuration has been modified from standard; see photos for the current rear and front sight setup.
Capacity is 30+1 with the included 30-round AK-pattern steel magazine. A manual safety lever is present, and the stamped steel receiver provides the foundation expected of a Molot-built VEPR K.
