This example is Austrian-made and carries factory markings, including the slide legend "GLOCK 17 AUSTRIA 9x19" and a chamber/barrel hood marked "9x19" with the Glock logo and Austrian proof marks. The black polymer frame uses the Gen3 grip profile with molded finger grooves and integrated thumb rests. Controls are straightforward, with a left-side magazine release and Glock's Safe Action system employing three passive safeties.
