    What’s Included

    • Browning Model 1886 Grade I .45-70 Govt. lever-action rifle

This Grade I configuration is the plain, non-engraved version produced by Miroku in Japan. It carries the Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q. barrel address and "Made in Japan" markings, with a PT date code indicating 1986 production. The receiver is blued steel, while the bolt is left in the white.

The rifle is built around a 26-inch octagon barrel and a full-length tubular magazine with a stated capacity of 8+1 in .45-70 Govt. It uses a traditional top-eject receiver and a smooth, period-appropriate lever action without a tang or cross-bolt safety.

Sighting equipment includes a dovetailed blade front sight and a semi-buckhorn rear sight with elevator. These open sights match the classic layout and are set up for straightforward adjustment via the rear elevator.

Stock furniture consists of a straight-grip walnut buttstock with a gloss finish and a steel crescent buttplate. The walnut fore-end is capped with steel. Overall metalwork is blued, with the receiver and barrel finished to match the Grade I specification.
