    What's Included

    • Nagoya Arsenal Type 99 Arisaka Short Rifle chambered in 7.7 Japanese

Built by Nagoya Arsenal in Japan during WWII, this Type 99 Arisaka is the short rifle variant chambered in 7.7 Japanese. It uses a bolt-action system with the model's knurled rear safety knob and forged-steel receiver and barrel.

The rifle follows the standard short rifle configuration with a 26-inch barrel and an internal 5-round box magazine loaded via stripper clips. Two barrel bands provide a bayonet lug along with sling and stacking points.

Sighting is via iron sights: a protected-post front with square ears and a tangent/ladder rear leaf with a sliding elevator, specified here without anti-aircraft wings. No dust cover is installed.

The furniture is hardwood, including a full-length handguard and a stock cut with long fore-end grasping grooves. The stock is fitted with a steel buttplate and a left-side butt sling swivel. Length of pull measures 12.5.
