What’s Included
- Western Field Model 35 20 Gauge pump-action shotgun
Manufactured in the United States by J. Stevens Arms Co. for Montgomery Ward's Western Field line, this Model 35 reflects Browning's proven hammerless, locking-breech pump action. The forged steel receiver and internal-hammer design pair with side ejection for dependable operation and easy hull clearance.
The 28 inch barrel wears a fixed Full choke (fixed F choke) suited to tighter patterns. Sighting is straightforward with a front brass bead only. The barrel is marked "PROOF TESTED — 20 GAUGE," indicating factory proofing for the chambering.
A takedown system using an unscrewable magazine tube collar and front lug allows compact storage and straightforward maintenance. The tubular magazine holds 4 rounds, and the action cycles and ejects from the right-side port.
Classic walnut furniture completes the package: a diamond-pattern checkered forend and a walnut pistol-grip stock with a checkered wrist. A steel serrated buttplate and a 13.75 inch length of pull provide a traditional fit and shoulder feel.
