The G42 is the micro-size member of Glock’s Slimline series, built around a single-stack .380 ACP magazine for a narrow 0.98 in profile and easy concealment. With a 3.25 in barrel, 5.94 in overall length, and a weight of about 13.76 oz, it delivers a compact footprint while retaining Glock’s familiar ergonomics, including an integral beavertail.
This example is U.S.-made, identified by the "USA" slide and Smyrna, Georgia frame markings. Additional factory markings include a P-in-pentagon on the slide, "US" on the barrel, and D-stamped inspection marks on the slide and frame, adding clear provenance for buyers who value specific origin and proof details.
It uses a locked-breech operating system and Glock’s striker-fired Safe Action trigger, with a factory-rated pull around 5.4 lb. Safety features include a trigger safety, firing pin safety, and drop safety, providing the standard Glock passive safety suite.
