    What's Included

    • Winchester Model 12 Field Grade 12 Gauge shotgun

Manufactured in 1959 per Winchester serialization tables, this Model 12 comes in the desirable Field Grade configuration. It retains its hammerless, takedown pump-action design and right-side ejection/loading port, a hallmark of the platform developed by T.C. Johnson and celebrated as "The Perfect Repeater."

The 28 inch plain (non-ribbed) barrel is made of Winchester Proof Steel and is fitted with a fixed Modified (M) choke and a single front bead sight. The chamber is 2 3/4 inches, pairing well with the platform’s under-barrel tubular magazine capacity of five rounds.

Controls and operation are straightforward and true to the Model 12 pattern: a smooth pump-action, right-side loading and ejection, and a hammerless receiver. The takedown feature allows the barrel/magazine assembly to separate from the receiver for transport and maintenance.

The Field Grade walnut furniture includes an uncheckered pistol-grip stock with a 14.0 inch length of pull and a grooved walnut "corncob" fore-end. The shotgun wears a blued finish over a steel receiver, and carries factory markings including WINCHESTER — MODEL-12 — 12 GA. — 2 3/4 CHAM., WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL, TRADE MARK MADE IN U.S.A., and a MOD choke stamp.
