The receiver is a cast aluminum-alloy with the factory maroon/burgundy coating, and loading and ejection are through the left-side port, a distinctive layout for this pump-action design.
Configured as a pistol-caliber carbine, it is chambered for .357 Magnum and is also compatible with .38 Special. The 18.5 inch barrel is paired with an under-barrel tubular magazine for a 10+1 capacity. The twin-tube front end is secured by a barrel/magazine band near the muzzle.
