Built by Carl Walther in Germany and imported by Umarex USA, this rimfire carbine carries licensed Colt Tactical Rimfire markings and German proof marks, including the DE country mark, Ulm antler, and AK CIP date code indicating 2009. The bolt is CIP proofed and repeats the serial, consistent with Walther production practices.
It uses a dedicated straight blowback rimfire mechanism with proprietary internals tailored for .22 LR. The forward assist and bolt catch are cosmetic on this platform. Operation is semi-automatic with a manual safety, and capacity is 30+1 with the included magazines. Length of pull measures 12.5 inches.
The carbine has a 16-inch barrel capped with an A2-pattern birdcage flash hider. The flat-top Picatinny upper provides a solid mounting surface, and there are no sights installed. The two-piece, carbine-length polymer handguard integrates short accessory rail sections at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions.
Furniture includes a telescoping, adjustable polymer stock and an A2-style pistol grip for familiar AR-15 ergonomics. The aluminum receiver, polymer handguard, and factory-style 30-round magazines with loading assist buttons round out a practical .22 LR M4-pattern setup.
