The G47 MOS was developed for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in 2019 and subsequently released to the commercial market, offering a duty-proven configuration to civilian buyers. This example retains the Gen5 feature set, including ambidextrous slide-stop levers, the removal of finger grooves, and Glock's durable nDLC surface treatment.
The slide is cut for the Modular Optic System (MOS) and arrives with the cover plate installed. Front and rear cocking serrations provide positive manipulation. Fixed polymer sights include a white dot front and a white U-notch rear for a clear, familiar sight picture.
The 4.49 inch steel Glock Marksman Barrel uses enhanced polygonal rifling and carries the nDLC finish. The pistol is striker-fired with an integrated trigger safety lever and a factory-standard trigger pull. The full-size polymer frame includes an accessory rail and is compatible with the Gen5 Modular Backstrap Set included in the case.
Markings include Austrian proof marks and AT marking on the barrel hood, with "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA" on the grip. Matching serial numbers on the frame and slide are noted. Parts compatibility with G17/G19/G45 Gen5 MOS platforms adds flexibility for duty or training fleets.
