    What’s Included

    • Winchester Model 1892 Sporting Rifle chambered in .25-20 Win.

This Sporting Rifle is the solid-frame configuration with a 24-inch round barrel and a full-length tubular magazine. Steel construction with a blued finish and a steel crescent buttplate reflects the period-correct Sporting setup.

Chambered in .25-20 W.C.F., it feeds from a 9-round tubular magazine. The action uses the Browning dual vertical locking-lug design associated with the Model 1892.

Sighting equipment includes a dovetailed blade front and a semi-buckhorn rear with an elevator. The walnut stock features a straight grip, an oil finish, a steel fore-end cap, and a steel crescent buttplate. Length of pull is 12.75 inches.

Markings include Winchester oval WP proofs on the barrel and receiver ring and the "-WINCHESTER- TRADE MARK" legend on the tang. This example has no saddle ring and shows a small unfilled hole on the upper tang ahead of the tang screw. Made in the United States in 1906.
