Made in Belgium by FN, this C-Series Hi-Power dates to 1969 and follows the "69Cxxxx" serial format associated with that production year. The slide is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY St LOUIS Mo & MONTREAL P.Q." and "MADE IN BELGIUM," and Belgian proof stamps are present on the barrel hood and at the right front of the trigger guard.
The configuration is the desirable fixed-sight, ring-hammer layout. Sights consist of a fixed front blade with an orange insert/dot and a low-profile rear sight set in a dovetail. The slide carries fine vertical rear serrations for positive manipulation, and the pistol does not have a lanyard ring.
Construction is all steel with a polished blue finish on both slide and frame. The full-size frame wears checkered wood grips with a bordered pattern. Barrel length is 4.6 inches, aligning with the classic Hi-Power profile and balance.
Operation is single-action with a locked-breech tilting barrel. Controls include a left-side magazine release and a left-side thumb safety. Capacity is 13+1 rounds of 9mm Luger, and this example includes five 13-round magazines for ample range or carry rotation.
