This Weimar-era DWM P.08 Alphabet Commercial is a commercial-market .30 Luger from circa 1920–1921 with a blank chamber, DWM monogram on the toggle, and a GERMANY export marking. It has matching visible serial components on the frame and toggle, a 3.75 in round-profile barrel, and fixed sights. The pistol wears a blued finish with checkered walnut grips and comes with an 8-round alloy-base magazine.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The pistol is in great shape. There are scratches and blemishes present. The upper has been reblued. There are spots of pitting that have been refinished over.

This Alphabet Commercial configuration reflects Weimar-era commercial production: the chamber is blank, the toggle carries the DWM monogram, and there are no Imperial acceptance stamps. The GERMANY export marking further identifies it as a commercial export example from the period.
The pistol is chambered in .30 Luger and features an approximately 95 mm (3.75 in) round-profile barrel. It uses the classic short-recoil, toggle-locked, striker-fired, single-action system with knurled toggle knobs for positive manipulation.
Sighting is via a dovetailed front blade and a fixed V-notch on the rear toggle link. The full-size carbon steel frame and receiver are finished in blued, complemented by checkered walnut grips for a traditional Luger presentation.
