The T.O.R.O. slide is cut for micro dots that use the Shield RMSc footprint, and this pistol includes a Viridian RFX11 in the box; the factory T.O.R.O. cover plate is installed on the slide. The slide features a hard-anodized black finish, forward and rear serrations, and a top window. With the factory cover plate installed, iron sight configuration may vary.
The 4.6-inch extended bull barrel is alloy steel and directly threaded 1/2x28 TPI, with a thread protector included. This configuration supports muzzle device attachment while maintaining the barrel’s rigidity and balance.
Built on a black polymer frame with an accessory Picatinny rail, the TX22 Gen 2 uses a striker-fired, straight-blowback .22 LR operating system. Safety features include multiple passive and manual safeties. This example is customized with an FRT trigger installed.
Capacity is 21+1. Five Taurus factory magazines are included: two 21-round and three 16-round, with a mix of extended and flush baseplates. Slide and frame markings include TX and Bainbridge, GA, and the pistol is made in the United States.
