    What’s Included

    • Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 revolver
    • Case

The Model 29-2 is a six-shot, double-action/single-action .44 Magnum built on the robust S&W N-frame with a fluted cylinder. This example pairs that proven platform with a 6-inch carbon steel barrel and a polished blue finish, delivering the classic long-barrel 29 profile.

Engraving is a standout feature: scroll motifs cover the frame, sideplate, crane, underlug, cylinder, and barrel sides, along with the edges of the topstrap. The barrel’s top rib remains factory serrated and unengraved. The coverage is extensive and even, giving the revolver a distinctive, high-visibility presentation.

It retains the sought-after pinned barrel and recessed chambers, along with a shrouded underlug and an ejector rod with a smooth locking tip and a knurled section under the shroud for disassembly. Controls include a wide trigger and a wide, checkered hammer spur, complemented by large smooth wood target-style stocks with S&W medallions.

Sights consist of a micrometer-click adjustable rear paired with a ramped front sight featuring a red/orange insert. Manufactured in the United States in 1980, this 29-2 brings together classic engineering details and ornate exterior work in a single, cohesive package.
