This first-generation Benelli Super Black Eagle is an Italian-made, two-piece receiver shotgun with a 26-inch barrel and a 3.5-inch chamber. It features Benelli's Inertia-Driven system with a rotating bolt head, a ventilated rib with fine serrations, and a threaded muzzle. It comes well-equipped with an extended ported choke installed, a six-piece choke tube set, stock shims, tools, a Benelli hard case, and additional magazine components.

This Gen 1 Super Black Eagle uses a two-piece receiver with a matte gray steel upper and a black anodized aluminum alloy lower. It carries Italian manufacturing and import markings including BENELLI U.S.A. CORP. - ACCOKEEK, MD - MADE IN ITALY; BENELLI ARMI S.P.A. - URBINO - MADE IN ITALY; and BENELLI ARMI SYSTEM.
The Inertia-Driven semi-automatic action with a rotating bolt head is paired with a 3.5-inch chamber in 12 gauge. It has a tube magazine with a stated 3-round capacity and sling attachment points at the rear stock stud and front magazine cap.
The 26-inch steel barrel has a ventilated rib with fine serrations and a red/orange front bead. The threaded muzzle accepts interchangeable choke tubes; an extended ported choke is currently installed, and a full six-piece choke set is included for pattern tuning.
The black polymer stock and forend feature molded checkering and a recoil pad. Length of pull is 14.5 inches, providing a consistent mount and fit. The overall finish presents in black/gray as described on the receiver and furniture.
Complementary accessories include stock shims for fit adjustment, a Benelli gun oil bottle, and the installation/removal tool. Additional parts such as a magazine extension tube with end cap (uninstalled), barrel/magazine clamp (uninstalled), extra magazine tube spring, and a magazine plunger offer configuration options. Everything stores in the included Benelli hard case.
