The TACOPS Carry configuration uses a 4.2-inch, standard bushing barrel paired with a GI-style recoil spring plug, delivering Commander-length proportions in a steel, black-finished package. Its slide features front and rear cocking serrations, a lowered ejection port, and a squared profile for consistent manipulation and ejection.
An integral three-slot Picatinny accessory rail is machined into the dust cover, providing direct attachment of compatible accessories. Fixed 3-dot sights are dovetailed front and rear, with a single-dot front and two-dot rear for a clear reference under varied lighting.
Control features include left-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory pad for repeatable engagement. The frontstrap and mainspring housing are checkered, and the pistol wears black textured grip panels for secure purchase.
The fire-control system is traditional single-action only with a skeletonized, long trigger incorporating lightening cuts, complemented by a skeletonized Commander-style ring hammer. The single-stack 1911 interface feeds from 8-round magazines for a total capacity of 8+1 in .45 ACP.
