What's Included
- Mossberg owner's manual
- 28 in vent-rib Accu-Choke field barrel (separate/spare)
- Mossberg factory box with matching SKU 54169/serial label
This combo provides two purpose-built barrels. The 18.5 in security barrel uses a cylinder bore (cyl choke) and a white front bead for fast, open-pattern shooting. The included 28 in field barrel adds a vent rib and Mossberg's Accu-Choke system, with a threaded muzzle to accept standard choke tubes for adaptable pattern control.
The receiver is marked "Mossberg North Haven CT U.S.A. 500 12 GA." and is factory drilled and tapped in a four-hole pattern with filler screws. Core Mossberg 500 engineering is present throughout, including twin action bars, dual extractors, positive lock-up, and an anti-jam elevator.
It is chambered for both 2 3/4 in and 3 in shells, giving you full 3 inch chamber (3") flexibility across loads. The tubular magazine holds five rounds. Controls include an ambidextrous, tang-mounted sliding safety that is easy to reach for both right- and left-handed users.
The hardwood stock and wood fore-end feature pressed checkering for grip, paired with a ventilated recoil pad and a rear sling swivel stud. The aluminum-alloy receiver wears an anodized finish, and the barrels and small parts have a blued finish. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches. Crown Grade wood trim is noted on the factory box label.
