Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, it is a straightforward, direct-impingement AR-15 configured for reliability and easy accessory setup via its full-length Picatinny top rail.

The RF-15 uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement operating system with a two-position manual safety. The upper is a slick-side configuration with no forward assist, and it includes an ejection-port cover. Selector markings are clearly labeled SAFE/FIRE.
The 16 inch barrel has a threaded muzzle with a flash hider installed. A low-profile gas block is secured by set screws, and the free-float design of the handguard helps keep accessories isolated from barrel contact.
The aluminum handguard provides M-LOK slots and a continuous, full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail with elongated lightening cuts. No sights are installed, allowing the buyer to choose preferred sighting options. Capacity is 30+1.
