This AUG A3 M2 is the NATO-stock variant that accepts common AR-15/STANAG magazines, expanding compatibility and simplifying logistics. It retains the proven AUG bullpup architecture with right-side ejection, an alloy receiver, and a durable black polymer stock with an integral pistol grip and trigger guard.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a flash hider, and uses Steyr's quick-detach/quick-change system with a locking collar. An adjustable gas regulator drives the short-stroke piston and rotating bolt, supporting reliable operation with a variety of loads. The 1:7 twist rate is optimized for 5.56mm NATO projectiles.
Controls are practical and familiar: a left-side, non-reciprocating charging handle, a cross-bolt safety, and a folding vertical foregrip that aids stability while maintaining the rifle’s compact balance. A rear-left sling loop is integrated into the stock for carry options.
For accessories, the rifle provides a full-length Picatinny top rail for optics and a left-side accessory rail for lights or other attachments. Capacity is 30+1 with the included magazine.
