The barrel is marked "BPS SPECIAL STEEL 12GA - 2 3/4" AND 3" FIELD MODEL - 28".

The 28 inch Field Model barrel is chambered for both 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells and uses a fixed Improved Modified (IM) choke. Sight alignment is straightforward with a ventilated rib and a single front bead.
Classic blued metalwork pairs with checkered walnut furniture. The stock has a pistol-grip profile and is finished with a Browning-marked ventilated recoil pad and spacer. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches.
