Its double-action/single-action mechanism and 5-shot cylinder chambered in .38 Special deliver a straightforward, proven configuration.
The Total Titanium series construction sets this revolver apart. It uses a titanium frame and a titanium barrel with a stainless-steel liner visible at the muzzle. The barrel underlug includes an oval lightening window, and the frame is marked "TITANIUM" to denote the series.
