    What’s Included

    • Winchester Model 70 Standard Rifle (.243 Win) with 22 inch barrel
    • Receiver drilled and tapped with factory plug screws; no scope bases or rings included

The post-64 push-feed action uses two front locking lugs with a plunger ejector and small extractor. The bolt body is jeweled, and the bent bolt handle wears a checkered knob for positive control. Winchester’s three-position wing safety provides safe, load, and fire positions.

The 22 inch carbon-steel barrel carries the "Winchester Proof Steel" roll-mark and includes factory provisions for iron sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics with factory plug screws installed; no scope mounts are installed.

The walnut Monte Carlo stock is set up for right-handed shooting with a cheekpiece, sharp checkering on the grip and fore-end, and contrasting black fore-end and pistol-grip caps with white-line spacers. A hard-rubber buttplate with the Winchester Repeating Arms logo and sling swivel studs complete the classic configuration. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.

Chambered in .243 Winchester with an internal 4-round box magazine, this rifle balances light recoil with versatile field performance. The blued finish pairs with traditional lines for a period-correct 1970s presentation, manufactured in New Haven, Connecticut.
