The XC configuration combines a steel frame and 2011 double-stack grip module for stability and capacity. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety, paired with a flat, skeletonized trigger featuring lightening cuts. A skeletonized hammer complements the single-action-only system.
Its 5 in barrel incorporates an integral single-port compensator. Sight alignment is fast and uncluttered with an island-mounted fiber-optic front sight and a black rear sight. The slide has front and rear cocking serrations and lightening windows, and the overall finish is matte black.
Ergonomics and reloads are supported by the polymer double-stack grip module with molded texture and Staccato star logos, plus a flared and pinned magazine well funnel. Capacity is 20+1 using the included 20-round magazines.
Markings and origin details include: slide marked STACCATO XC; left dustcover marked 20*11; chamber hood marked 9x19; underside dustcover engraved STACCATO and FLORENCE, TX USA; and a small U.S. flag engraving forward of the serial on the frame's left side. Matching serial markings are present on the frame and barrel. A full-length accessory rail with two slots is machined into the dustcover.
