Built on the Mark II platform produced from 1982 to 2005, this Standard variant features the tapered 4.75 in pencil-profile barrel with an unthreaded muzzle, paired with fixed sights—a front blade and a rear notch—for a straightforward, reliable sight picture.
The pistol uses a simple blowback action with a single-action trigger. Its cylindrical upper receiver has a right-side ejection port, and the reciprocating bolt includes rear grasping ears for confident charging.
Mark II refinements include last-shot bolt hold-open via the dedicated bolt stop. Controls are period-correct for the Standard model, with a heel-type magazine release and a manual safety.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish on the frame and receiver, complemented by black checkered synthetic grips with Ruger medallions. Capacity is 10+1 with the included steel magazines.
