The 2K11 Target pairs a stainless-steel frame with an aluminum grip module that wears aggressive checkering and a large flared magwell with the shield-S logo. Ambidextrous thumb safeties and a beavertail grip safety with a raised pad support consistent, single-action, hammer-fired operation without a firing-pin block (Series 70-style). A flat-faced, skeletonized trigger completes the control set.
The 5-inch stainless barrel is fluted, bushingless, and coned for a bull profile, using 5R rifling. A toolless guide-rod system simplifies field handling. The slide includes a lowered ejection port and an internal extractor.
Topside, the tri-top slide with lightening windows wears a two-tone finish: coyote bronze on the slide and black/dark gray on the frame. Sights consist of a red fiber-optic front in a dovetail on a TAG Kimber-marked base and a plain black, square-notch rear that is screw-adjustable and integrated into a removable rear cover plate.
Capacity is 20+1 with included double-stack steel magazines, comprising two extended 20-round bodies and one 17-round body (as shown in photos). A full-length accessory rail with three Picatinny slots is machined into the frame. Slide and frame markings read KIMBER TROY AL USA and 2K11.
