The Omega uses a solid-frame inline action with a removable breech plug. A side thumb-latch opens the breech cover to access and seat a 209 primer. This design, paired with an external hammer, provides straightforward operation with modern muzzleloader components.
The 28-inch unfluted round barrel is stainless steel with a matte finish and a 1:28 twist. It is drilled and tapped and retains adjustable fiber-optic iron sights, including a red fiber-optic front ramp and a fully adjustable rear sight with green fiber-optic elements on a Thompson/Center-marked base.
Optics are ready to go via an installed Weaver-style base with rings and a mounted Barska 3-9x42 IR scope. This setup provides variable magnification suitable for typical muzzleloader distances without removing the factory irons.
The composite camo stock is ambidextrous and features molded checkering, a recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. A full-length ramrod with a palm-saver/extension is carried under the barrel; no separate jag is included. Capacity is one round, and the barrel is roll-marked “THOMPSON | CENTER ARMS ROCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE .50 CAL.” alongside the warning “BLACK POWDER OR PYRODEX ONLY — DO NOT USE SMOKELESS POWDER.”
