This Freedom Ordnance FX-9 Carbine stands out with a 16-inch 4150 CMV steel barrel treated with a nitride finish and a factory-installed multi-ported muzzle brake. It accepts Glock-pattern 9mm magazines and features billet-machined aluminum receivers with a hard-anodized finish. The rifle includes flip-up iron sights, a free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard with a full-length top Picatinny rail (handguard unnumbered; upper receiver rail T-marked), and a Magpul fixed carbine stock. Condition is very good, with an excellent, mirror-bright bore.

The FX-9 platform is purpose-built around Glock-pattern magazines rather than a repurposed 5.56 lower. This dedicated architecture streamlines feeding and magazine fit with common 9mm Glock-pattern mags, offering straightforward compatibility and simple logistics.
The 16-inch barrel is 4150 CMV steel with a nitride finish for durability and corrosion resistance. It is threaded 1/2x28 and comes fitted with a multi-ported muzzle brake/compensator. A 1:10 twist supports a broad range of 9mm loads, and the bore condition is excellent.
Receivers are billet-machined aluminum alloy with a hard-anodized finish. The straight blowback, semi-automatic action uses a nitride-treated 4140 CM steel bolt. AR-style controls provide familiar handling. Components and the handguard carry FREEDOM ORDNANCE/FX-9 markings that match the model.
The free-float aluminum handguard features M-LOK slots and a full-length top Picatinny rail (handguard unnumbered); the upper receiver’s Picatinny rail is T-marked. Installed flip-up iron sights provide a ready sighting solution out of the box. The carbine is completed with a Magpul-branded fixed carbine stock on a carbine-diameter receiver extension and an A2-style pistol grip.
