Chambered in .30-378 Wby. Mag., this Mark V features a 26-inch heavy/magnum-contour barrel without iron sights. The threaded muzzle is fitted with a radial-ported cylindrical brake, and the barrel is rollmarked "USE ONLY 30-378 WBY MAG."
The right-hand Mark V action uses a full-diameter fluted bolt body and the signature multi-lug locking head. The receiver is drilled and tapped and marked "MARK V U.S. PATENT NO. 3,013,355," "Weatherby, ATASCADERO, CA," and "MADE IN U.S.A."
The black synthetic stock is a Monte Carlo design with a right-hand cheekpiece, molded checkering, and a recoil pad. Sling-swivel studs are installed front and rear, and the length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
Feeding is from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate and integral trigger guard. Capacity is 3 rounds. Talley-branded 30mm rings are installed for scope mounting.
