The 8-inch round barrel is wedge-retained, and the under-barrel loading lever is configured for seating round-ball projectiles.
The steel frame and hammer are color case-hardened, while the barrel and cylinder are blued for a classic two-tone look. A thin blade front sight provides a period-correct aiming reference. The brass oval trigger guard and brass grip strap pair with a one-piece walnut grip to complete the traditional configuration.
