This commemorative model celebrates “GSSF – 10 Years of Safe Sport Shooting 1991 – 2001” with factory engraving on the right side of the slide. It was part of a limited 2001 anniversary offering to GSSF members and used a dedicated GSSF serial prefix for the run.
The pistol is a full-size Glock 17 Gen3 with the classic polymer frame in black, finger grooves, and a single-slot Universal Glock Rail. It uses Glock's striker-fired Safe Action system and wears the standard Glock polymer sights with a white dot front and white-outline U-notch rear.
The 4.49-inch steel barrel is marked “9x19” on the hood, and the slide carries “GLOCK 17 AUSTRIA 9x19.” Import and proof markings read “MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA.” Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines.
Condition aligns with light prior handling and an excellent bore, making this example a strong representation of the 2001 GSSF anniversary issue. It ships with three 10-round magazines, the factory case, and the owner's manual.
