This Dan Wesson Model 15-2 Vent Heavy (VH) Pistol Pack is a Monson, Massachusetts-marked .357 Magnum revolver set with a high-polish blued finish, adjustable sights, and the factory interchangeable, tensioned barrel system. It is a complete Pistol Pack configuration with four VH barrel/shroud assemblies (2.5, 4, 6, and 8 inches), case, tools, spare sight blades, and an extra wood target grip.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Light handling marks are present on the revolver. The spare barrel/shroud assemblies show some scratches. Please refer to the photos for additional details.

The Model 15-2 VH Pistol Pack showcases Dan Wesson's interchangeable, tensioned barrel system with a recessed front muzzle nut. This set includes VH shrouds with a ventilated rib and full underlug in four lengths: 2.5, 4, 6, and 8 inches. The system uses the supplied feeler gauge to set the cylinder gap to approximately 0.006 inch per factory guidance.
Built on a steel frame and cylinder with a high-polish blued finish, this six-shot .357 Magnum features DA/SA operation, an exposed spur hammer, and a fluted cylinder. The crane-mounted, downward-acting cylinder release is a hallmark Dan Wesson control. The frame carries the Monson, Massachusetts rollmark.
Target-focused sights include a fully adjustable square-notch rear and a replaceable front sight blade with an orange/red insert. Spare interchangeable front sight blades are included to tailor the sight picture. The revolver wears a black rubber finger-groove grip with a DW medallion, and an additional wood target grip is provided.
Chambered in .357 Magnum, the cylinder also accepts .38 Special. With four barrel lengths in the Pistol Pack, this set covers short to long configurations, with the Vent Heavy shrouds providing a ventilated rib and full underlug across all lengths.
