This 2009 Marlin Model 1895GBL Guide Big Loop is a .45-70 Government lever-action with the classic big-loop finger lever, an 18.5 in round steel barrel, and a rugged laminated stock set. It features Ballard-type rifling with a 1:20 twist and a full-length 6-round tubular magazine. Thoughtful additions include a receiver-length Picatinny scope base, a hammer spur extension, and quick-detach sling swivels. Made in the United States, it presents in very good overall condition with a good bore.

The 1895GBL "Guide Big Loop" configuration pairs Marlin’s sturdy, blued steel receiver with an 18.5 in round barrel and a big-loop finger lever for gloved handling. It uses a full-length 6-round tubular magazine, side ejection through a solid-top receiver, and a right-side loading gate.
The steel barrel is non-threaded and cut with Ballard-type rifling at a 1:20 twist. Sighting equipment includes a front sight ramp with hood; front sight configuration may vary. The factory rear sight has been removed in favor of a receiver-length Picatinny scope base.
The stock set is laminated hardwood in a two-tone brown/gray finish with a pistol-grip profile and cut checkering. A rubber recoil pad and sling swivel studs are fitted, with quick-detach swivels and a leather sling already installed. Length of pull measures 13.5 in.
Controls include an exposed hammer with a hammer spur extension installed and a cross-bolt safety. This rifle was manufactured in 2009 in the United States and wears a two-tone finish with a blued/black receiver and a bright silver barrel and magazine tube.
